Itinerary
Day 1 — Chongqing city (about 8 hours): Ciqikou Old Town → Liziba Station → lunch by your taste → Yangtze Cableway → Jiefangbei → Hongyadong at dusk. (Same route as our city day tour; start 9:00 recommended.) Day 2 — Dazu Rock Carvings (about 9 hours): 08:00 departure → Baodingshan (the main site: the 31-metre reclining Buddha, the wheel of rebirth, the ox-herders — 2.5–3 hours with your guide) → local lunch in Dazu town → Beishan carvings [OPTIONAL — quieter, older Tang–Song niches; your guide advises on the day] → return to Chongqing by about 18:00.

- Which order — city first or Dazu first? Either works; we recommend city first so your guide can pace day two to your energy and interests. Rain on day two? We swap the days free of charge.
- Can day two start later? Yes — 8:00 is optimal for Baodingshan's light and crowds, but 8:30–9:00 still works outside peak holidays.
- I only have 1.5 days. Take the city day tour and add Dazu as a long day trip only if your departure is after 20:00 on day two — talk to us, we'll be honest about the timing.
